what we do
Opening in spring 2020, Swimdogs offers dog owners a unique and enjoyable way to exercise their beloved pets in a 32 foot above-ground swimming pool.
We’re a small, family-run business with the goal of providing a simple, effective, and fun experience for all dogs, regardless of their size or swimming ability.

Swimdogs is set in the grounds of Pound Cottage, a tranquil grassy paddock in rural Gloucestershire.
Our pool features a custom-built ramp and wooden platform, allowing you and your dog to enter the water at your own pace.
The clean, controlled pool environment means there's no need to worry about the hazards they might encounter, like in lakes or rivers.
There’s space for up to six cars and changing facilities.
Sessions last for 30 minutes and can accommodate up to four dogs for a fun and social experience.

Swimming is such an incredible workout for dogs, with many experts saying just 5 minutes of swimming is equal to a mile walk!
It's also a low-impact activity that’s gentle on their joints.
We’ve found it’s a great way to build their confidence in order to try other activities too.

Top dog! :D
Jayne is the driving force behind SwimDogs and is spurred on by the love and support of her husband Steve.
Having had a love of dogs from a young age and competing in UK agility with her collie Misty for many years. She also has spaniels Morgan and Maxi who love to swim and can be great encouragement for other dogs if it’s their first time.
She's usually up at the crack of dawn making sure the pool is crystal clear!
With certificates in pet first aid, you can be assured your furbabies will be in excellent hands.

When he's not in the pool, Chris looks after our website and socials as well as taking some amazing images of your dog's during our photo sessions.
